About Orris

Back in 1981 the founder of Orris Systems Ltd. left the comfort of permanent employment and entered the world of contracting. With some 15 years computer experience behind him he completed several successful consultancy contracts both in England and abroad. Clients included large companies such as the Ford Motor Corporation in South Africa, SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) in the USA, the Post Office, the State Bank in Czech, Globtel (mobile telephone operator) in Slovakia and more.

In 1992 the company was diversified by offering PCs (built to order), consultancy and training to the local business community. This was conducted under the banner of Bytes & PCs. Recently Orris Systems Ltd has been established providing a full range of computer services.

For the past 8 years Orris Systems Ltd has provided bespoke software to various telephone operators with extensive use being made of Visual Studio .NET.

Orris Systems provides the platforms that support SMileS - the SMS service that enables Business Mobile Content Solutions which can deliver your content to mobiles and landlines. Orris Systems developed the software that supports this service and backs up the web interfaces and services.
